Geraldine has a distinguished career writing for Ireland's leading newspapers and parenting magazines. As a freelance journalist, she is a frequent contributor to the Irish Times. Her editorial expertise spans a broad range of topics, including mental health, women's health, family, culture, and education. With 10 years experience as a freelance journlist, she is a versatile figure in the Irish publishing scene. She is the current non-fiction editor for the Belfast Review. 

Geraldine provides expert coaching and online courses designed to nurture writers' skills. Her tailored 1:1 mentorship programmes focus on storytelling, editing, and navigating the publishing industry to help writers achieve their goals. With over 10 years editing experience, she offers various editing services such as developmental editing and line editing. She is a course faciliatator with the Irish Writers Centre offering bestselling courses on non-fiction writing and self-editing.

Geraldine's fiction writing has appeared in various literary journals, including The Storms, Frazzled Lit, Aimsir, and Agenda, amongst others. She has been longlisted and shortlisted in various writing competitions, most notably, the Bridport Flash Fiction Prize, Fish Publishing Prizes, and the 4 Faced Liar Short Story Prize. She was awarded the International Lamplight Fellowship 2025 and the Island of Many Voices 2026. She is currently working on a short story collection and novel.
